THE TIPS RACK MODULE
We recently introduced the TIPS module - a way to add some written information and pictures to programs.
Some of the programs in the factory library will include tips in newer instruments. These might be information about the instrument, notable features of the program, or what some controls in the program do.
WRITING YOUR OWN TIPS
You can add tips to your own program, or add them to factory programs and save them to your user library.
You might want to remind yourself the purpose of the program (maybe a character, genre, or setting), an interesting discovery you made in the FX (maybe a new FX preset born from the program), or an unorthodox way you found to use the program.
Or, if you tried something that didn’t work, you can write that too so you know not to waste time trying it again later.
ADDING PICTURES
To add a new image to the TIPS module, just drag and drop one in! Both PNGs and JPGs are supported, and while the recommended resolution is 428x228 (or 856x446 for a sharper image), you can use images of different sizes or aspect ratios if you have one ready to go!
